10 reasons I hate the Secret life of the American teenager

1. They are 15 and act 35

2. They tried to say by giving a 15 year old girl the pill it will make sex seem more real, Real in the sense that she realizes its not just something to talk about but in fact something she wants to wait for and by holding the pill knows she wont do it.... WHAT B.S. By giving her the freaking pill you are saying "HEY your 15 but if you have sex its alright at least you can be doubly safe." When her parents are devout christians to begin with and NO DEVOUT CHRISTIAN would ever give their daughter the pill to begin with. This was in fact a poorly written part of the show and completely unrealistic and feeds children with nonsense ideas about the pill and what abstinence is really all about.

3. That brings me to point number three. Although the show glorifies teen pregnancy and basically makes it seem almost alright you know it really doesn't want kids to think this. At the end they talk about, "talking to your kids about safe sex" or what not. We all know the safest sex is in itself abstinence until marriage. So why would you not at any point in this show preach abstinence, they preach about using condoms, they preach about the pill, the only one time they say don't do it the christian girl does it anyway. Great lesson ABC family.

4. When the fat rich man brings his hooker of a fiance home for sex he talks to his son about how he loves her and than asks to borrow a condom, when your 15 year old son opens a drawer full of condoms and you simply take one or two and don't talk to him you have an issue. Especially when that son says "hey I am an optimist." UH your 15 freaking years old. I didn't even buy condoms till I was 17 almost 18 let alone ever talk to my parents about such things. You should not be optimistic about having sex at 15 there is no way a parent should be okay with that. When your girl friend just gave birth why would you want to have sex with her? She already has one kid why risk another. This father is an idiot because he did not sit down and explain condoms are not worth it they only work 82% of the time and the only safe sex is abstinence. Once again telling 15 year olds its okay to have sex.

5. The whole divorce thing. I understand they are getting divorced and I know people start dating once this happens but to have the mom get pregnant before she is even divorced was just retarded. You basically told Americas youth although 50% of marriages end in divorce now that once you decided you are doing this its alright to move on start dating and become sexually active outside your marriage. There is no way that is ethically or morally right. It also adds nothing good to the plot it simply just makes me want to slap this woman in the face.

6. PLUS WTF was she doing having sex on the first date?!??!?! your 15 year old daughter just had a kid, sure you are in your 50's (according to her mother) and sure you are about to be divorced but sex on the first date is sleazy as hell. Plus it was illogical and irresponsible.

7. This show degrades the words "I love you." I would like to state these words should only leave someone's mouth if you are saying to someone and you can Look into their eyes at any moment and know you would do anything to keep them in your life under any possible circumstances and would without even blinking give your life to save theirs. Thus these words should almost never leave a high schoolers mouth let alone anyones before a minimum of 6 months of being together if not longer. Now apparently Ben or w.e. he is named loves Amy and he is 15. I don't think any fifteen year old can fathom for ever let alone what love truly means. Her mom is in love with the architect after only a few dates... what was it two? seriously...

8. There is no way Ricky would have been able to stop Amy from giving away the baby. That was just B.S. They are both underage he is not emancipated the parents, mainly hers could have gotten the right to put the baby up for adoption. Even if he tried to fight it they could have gone to court and she would have won since it is her having the baby and her burden. I am sorry that was just crappy writing and a poor way for the writers to make her keep the baby.

9. The sister? seriously... I understand when your sister is having a baby you might get away with a lot but your 13 supposedly yet everyone comes to you for advice and you have the maturity of a 55 year old. You have not friends and dress in dark clothes but apparently are not emo and don't cut yourself. Your get to skip school when ever you want. You even get to "smoke" even though you really don't and your parents don't care. There is no way that is realistic at all it is just adding to the unrealistic characters in this show that embody why most people hate America because they actually think american teenagers are like this. Her character is terribly written for a 13 year old and seriously needs to be slapped. Plus she shows NO emotion EVER.

10. The Rich girl? seriously I understand her mom is a flight attendant so she is never home but who really leaves a 16 year old girl home alone that often. When her dad finally stood up and took a fatherly roll and stopped her from having sex she resented him, which is normal but the show made him out to be the bad guy. Wow shouldn't he be the hero for stopping her from having sex? what are we telling the 15 year olds who watch this show? If your dad wants to stop you from having sex and ruining your future he is a bad guy? Then when she tries to stop her christian friend from having sex she once again becomes the bad guy... She stays over to stop her and the show makes her seem like a bad friend... Seriously send the right message to kids even if it means less sex and using the word less than 500 times.

Legen WAIT for IT

DARY

That is what I thought of the new Transformers movie. Now aside from all the awesome military action scenes and the sexy ass 2010 Camaro, Concept Corvette, and Audi R8 there was of course MEGAN FOX. She may possibly be the hottest woman alive. After getting over how incredibly hot she was though the movie surprised me with its amazing-ness.

Although I am desperately in love with the first movie there were a few aspects it fell short on. The deceptacons had no real dialog and although the movie was "Transformers" it focused mostly on the humans which I did kind of understand. You can't really show emotions with robots without building a structure of character for them with the use of humans and their emotions interacting with them. After seeing bumblee get tied down and captured and not fight back and watching Sam try to fight of the military in the first movie the characters of bumblee and the rest of the autobots were shown to be compationet and protecting of humans.

So to see a scene of completly robots talking and fighting was awesome. To see bumblbee come into his own as a fighter was also awesome.

My favorit part was the social commentary though. Obama was mentioned early in the movie as president. It was strange to me at first since the first movie never did say Bush they just said "the president asked me to wrangle up some ding dongs" ovbiously Bush. They also used a few lines from some of Bush's speaches as lines for the military members of the movie. So when Obama's name was said I though "OH shit really... this movie is going to be a liberal glorificatoin film and it will suck." Boy was I wrong. First it has Obama appoint a man who knows nothing about NEST, Autobots, Decepticons, or any thing else of importents to a leadership possition and the military men under his new command are confused and as a whole think his judgement is flawed. When he tries to say the Autobots may be bad and bringing the fight to our doorstep I love Optomis's line when he says "If you want us to leave we will. But how about you go back to your president and ask him, What if he is wrong?"

This is something everyone should do right now. With all this spending and other actions Obama is taking ask him "what if he is wrong?" I bet if people started questioning his rediculous moves maybe he would slow down and stop before his actions put us and the rest of the free world in danger and below the poverty line or worse off, in a socialist nation.

Is this what it really comes down too?

I realized tonight how technology has de-socialized our generation. I mean sure we have texting, cell phones, facebook, myspace, and instant messaging but is that really being social. I mean I always thought being social was sitting next to someone talking face to face and it was not till I thought about dating that I realized it.

We don't meet people in person and get there phone number to call them any more. NO, we meet people and friend them on Facebook. We get their phone number electronically. Our plans are not made face to face, not even on the phone we do it by text. Our Idea of courtship is finding a really good picture of us to represent our selves and hoping that person online likes it.

Although I have always made a habit of actually calling the girls I am "talking" to or going to see them in person it is quite disgusting to know true courtship is dead. Not just that but think about it, how many of you have talked to someone you call a "good friend" from college since you got home. Now I bet everyone said yes. How many of those good friends did you talk to via a facebook message, instant message or facebook video? If anyone actually called someone you are very special. Now I am not talking about that friend you met that lives five minutes from you that you hang out with already but the one from another state or the other side of this one.

I feel like the more advanced our technology gets the less personable we will be. Sure we will know more about people from electronic websites and we will have more contact but we wont know people the same way pervious generations did with face time and actual being present in front of the people you socialize with.

So in stead of leaving that message on facebook next time, call them, even for a short phone call don't let complete contact with far away friends this summer rely solely on the internet. I don't know about you but I hope that facebook and texting will give way to actual phone calls and just hanging out with people cause I would rather be physically with someone than electronically

ride wit me

So the weekend is ending and its a bittersweet moment. If you don't know you better check your calendar! over the next three to four days everyone will be going home for summer and leaving this beautiful city of wilmington that we call home for nine months of the year.

Now I didn't think about it until I believe it was Rachael who pointed it out, but you can tell who made real friends this weekend. Everyone who wants to spend their last nights with a select few friends instead of running out to see a new movie with just one person. People who say "why do you need to do that wont you see them in a few months anyway" obviously missed out on the best part of freshmen year.

Being away from home we all got to find a new set of friends to spend every day, every meal, and our best days with. Now I am really happy with the friends I ended up with and think I did a great job meeting a great group of people. This weekend was quite amazing and I had a great time hanging out with everyone and I am so happy I decided to come to wilmington and will be returning in the fall.

So that is why it is sad. Although I will see a good amount of my friends this summer since a few live by me at home and I will travel down here every now and than we wont all be together.

This weekend was also one of my greatest ever for reasons I don't feel like sharing now with everyone. I will most likely talk about them later if your lucky. But I would like to thank all my friends for being so amazing and the best friends anyone could ask for.

zombies?

So it is now being reported by BBC that the swine flue is in fact a zombie creating disease. What is this do you ask? Do I really need to explain it? Alright after being killed by the swine flu, this disease has the power to restart the victims heart again for up to two hours. Now there is a chemical released during the death/resurrection that causes brain damage. So when people are resurrected they become very violent.

It all makes perfect sense though. Think about it, almost every zombie movie starts with a disease originating in a foreign country. Check. At first the government assures everyone we are safe and that there is nothing to fear. Check.  A few nut cases start spouting off about zombies and the public calls them liars and denounces their claims. Check. Than some one actually witnesses a zombie and the news reports it and still everyone thinks they will be alright. Check.

The only thing left is for most of the world to become zombies while a few of us who are smart survive and try to fight them off while finding a cure. Now I don't know about you but it seems to me if you search you tube that some people are actually excited about this. I have already read a few blog entries where people are fully prepared and have been waiting for this day and this like their I told you so moment.

Why would you be waiting for the world to end via zombies? Really.... I am not sure but I do know one thing. As soon as my exams are over I am stalking up on food, water, and shot gun ammo and setting up shop to wait out the zombie infestation. I will need a pretty woman to help repopulate the earth after the zombies are defeated.

Enjoy exam week people. Good luck surviving zombie attack.

this week

Obama's 100th day has passed. Now how does it look? to me not very well. It seems as though people are still ignorantly following him and the news is not helping.

"But Fletch the news only reports the facts!" oh how wrong you would be to say that. CNN has said "it takes four years or more for effects on the economy to take place so that is why it still looks bad when Obama has done so much." By this idea if it turned around today than it would be Bush's doing not Obama's. Well we know if that were too happen the news would praise Obama for fixing it even though by their own statement it was not his doing. They are simply coving Obama's back side if you will so if he does F**K up the economy more they can just blame Bush.

"He is fixing our policies with terrorism and prisoners!" Is he really? By taking away scary places like gauntohmono bay and making it so interrogations have to be G rated? Sure it sounds humane but it wont get results. Do people who wanted to blow up and kill hundreds of americans deserve to be treated "humane"I think that any and every form of interrogation should be used on terrorists to get the information needed to keep our country safe from further attack.

"He is getting our troops out of Iraq we have been there too long!" Did you know that we still have troops occupying parts of Europe from world war two a war that took place over sixty years ago. To maintain peace and be sure democracy is spread we need to stay the course not show weakness. Since after world war two America's policy was to create a world where a central force (the UN) lead all nations and helped their democratic governments keep all problems under control.

Now I understand Obama wants to spread socialism but it is not right. Yes it is the republican party that is for capitalism, the only form of government to be successful in our country's history. I am sorry to be the one to tell you this but Obama and other liberals who would rather have communism or socialism are dumb. A system about people working twice as hard and getting the same satisfaction as someone who collects trash once a week is just not smart. America is a great place because even the poorest of people can worth their way up to the top. I am sorry but the government is there to keep people in line and make sure we don't mess up. I believe it is a wast of money for the government to give out food, healthcare, and money to people who make bad life choices and can't provide for themselves. If you can't provide for yourself you are of no use to humanity. As with survival of the fittest the government should not keep you alive it should let you die out so the stronger beings can preserver.

So no more bail outs, just stop paying welfare, and for poor people to go to the doctor. Stop with the food stamps. No universal health care it is dumb. No forcing community service on high schoolers we are not communist. Seriously we are a capitalist nation, it is the best way to be keep it that way. Hopefully he will stop F**king up in the next 100 days. Stop insulting other nations with gifts of Ipods and wallmart movies. Seriously how can he be that dumb... Lets also hope the news will start telling it like it is instead of making it out that he is some kind of perfect god because he is far from it.

Life before technology.

Now when any teenager gets their phone taken away or break it the first thing they say to their parents is "MY SOCIAL LIFE IS OVER NOW, I HATE YOU!" ect ect ect.

Is that true though? I mean you still have facebook, Aim Idk what else kids use these days. Some of us don't use instant messenger though. I also gave up facebook till my exams are over. I had a trusted friend change my password. Now due to some miss communication I left my phone at home thursday morning. Home being my parents house in cary. I thought they were ordering my iphone that day and doing expedited shipping. Turns out it takes 10-14 business days to ship and I wont get it until returning home for summer.

So for the last few days I have been having to plan everything without a cell p
hone. Meet people for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had to remember to go to class without my phone vibrating to remind me. I had to remember what hours I had to work without checking the calendar on the cell. I even made it to church sunday morning and a dance friday night. One that I might add I looked quite snazzy for.

Now of course everything I do has to be planned out hours in advance. Lucky for me my friends all eat their meals at nearly the same time every day and are easy to catch up with and than plans are made for later. My parents have sent a friend of mine back to wilmington with my phone today. I guess they caught up with him over the weekend in cary. Now So I will have a phone again but I am not sure if I want it. I feel like I get a lot more done with out it. Plus my social life although a little tough to find people at times and what not has not been hindered.

So cell phones are not the end all and be all of a social life. Life goes on with out them. Heck it might be better not to have one for the next 10 days during exams.

Do work

It has arrived. The last day of classes is monday. It is also the day of my English final. My Psychology, Calc, and history final are next wednesday. My german final finishes up next tuesday. Now with my second semester of college coming to an end I NEED good grades. My low GPA first semester left me scarred but I need at least a 2.6 this one to get a 2.5 for the year SO if I am offered R.A. (I am an alternate) I can take the job.

Now that means I need amazing exam grades something I have never been good at the past. So this year I took some extreme measures. My Xbox 360 was taken home last night and wont be seen again till I return home for summer. My roommate is taking his TV home in the morning. My cell phone was left at home (due to miscommunication on when my new one is coming in) but in the end it is for the best. I had a good friend of mine change my facebook password to fully remove the biggest distraction of my studying.

Now I am still working  a little but I don't have a shift lasting past 7pm saturday or sunday So I can make my way to the library. Friday will be my relaxing day with a 9pm shift than a semi formal dance I think is what is on the menu.

But till then my all-nighters and study sessions continue. Filled with 1-2 coffee runs a night with caleb and daniel and energy drink runs with david I seem to be spending LOTS of money of caffeine but with out it how would I possibly cram all this information into my head and write all these papers.

I know movies showed the end of a college semester as the most chilled time with the most parties and best time of your life scenario but its not like that at all. I find I spend about 20 hours a day awake and out of those five of them are spent in class, 3-5 at harris teeter working / eating with friends and what not and the rest is in the library.

Well I know Randell very well. In fact I could most likely date the library I know it that well.

Monday, April 20, 2009

oh no not for me not for me, call it toucher call it university

Feeling stressed yet? For all of you fellow college students everything is boiling down to these last two weeks. You have those final tests before the exams. The actual exams. It seems that coffee and energy runs are increasing as time spent in the library increases and sleep decreases. As these times increase your available work hours dives to zero and your bank account plummets. If you have debt you may hide yourself from your friends so you are not tempted to spend more.

Are any of these things shown in movies? I thought college was a breeze and a non stop party but it seems my only social time is lifting weights with a friend in the gym and studying. Sure it is cool to study with friends and helps keep you from falling asleep or killing yourself but it would be nice to get out and enjoy life.

It seems like the american society portrayed college completely wrong. So take advantage of these last few days in the dorm before they literally kick you out hours after the last exam is finished. Spend that extra time seeing your friends before summer. Take that extra trip to the beach. But don't forget if your time spend studying is less than anything your most likely doing it wrong unless you are smart and have been studying all semester long. Something I did and Even I spend over 8 - 10 hours in front of my book or a study guide on my computer a day.

So grab your book, grab your girl and get work done. (studying I mean cause god doesn't like pre-marital sex) If you don't have a girl you know that one you think is cute but are too scared to ask out or tell her how you feel. Your running out of time cause remember once summer comes she will go back to that guy she liked in high school and you never know where she will be when you get back to school. Take some chances, remember you can retake a class but you can't retake life. Live it up. Remember these are supposed to be the best days of your life.

walking the right trail?

so last night I had my friend Matt and Dylan spend the night. Now around four AM there was some very profound conversation. At some point the idea of relationships and god were discussed.

Today this idea has stuck with me. For a while now I have been content with being single and that has never been something I have been alright with before. I could not figure out why. For all of high school and even when I first got to college I could not imagine being alone. Thus I had one good relationship that was surrounded by countless meaningless ones  for the simple fact I didn't want to be alone.

Now I wonder why everyone is so eager to jump into a relationship. I understand that dating is "fun" but it is also to find someone to spend the rest of your life with. Now although once you find the "right" person the relationship is very important until then there are many things that I now believe come before dating. One of them being a relationship with god.

I found that finding a way back to god has taken away my "want" to find a relationship. I would rather wait and find the right girl. Instead of just jumping freely into something because someone else is single and wants to just have fun. I would like to hold out for a meaningful relationship. There is no point in wasting my time tied up in something else that is not truly meaningful to me.

So I do credit Dylan for this. Although it was something I was already practicing I have now mentally come to terms as to why I don't really feel like searching for a date and would rather for the right girl to fall into my life. How I am starting to feel closer to god and not as alone. How I feel a little closer to my friends. In all I feel like I am on the right path.

Over 24 hours

24 hours ago now I was just waking up.

so how long have I been awake. 24 hours. WHY who the F knows!

I was not planning on this... When I got off work around 9:40PM last night I was planning on studying till midnight, finishing my papers and going to bed. Before I knew it I was not done with my papers till TWO AM. Than my psychology studying began and before I knew it the time was 4:30 AM and I was just sitting down in my dorm.

Now I could have gone to sleep for three hours. But who can really sleep for just three hours. I knew I had to get up and go to class and get stuff done before english and german class. So what did I do. I worked on some studying and facebook chatted it up for an hour than I found myself at the beach at 5:45 AM to watch the sunrise.

I made it back to campus by 6:45 and the gym hat opened at 6:30 so i was in there ASAP to hit up my lower body work out.

Now since 5am I have
-gone to the beach
-gone to the gym
-eaten breakfast with Virginia
-made it to psych class

between now and 2pm I still have too
-finish my german homework
-read two more pages for english
-eat some lunch
-do my 2nd ab work out
-go to english
-go to german

than 3pm bring volleyball practice

5:45-midnight = work at Harris Teeter

so can I make it?

Hopefully if you don't see me between now and bed time come out and watch RIDING DIRTY tear it up in OOZEBALL saturday morning starting at 9AM

Not cool? whacha talking about

So obviously I did not go to all four years of high school in carolina. If so I would be just like all the other haters out there. What am I talking about. Here let me start at the beginning. In 1998, I was in the 3rd grade, Pokemon Red and Blue came out. Everyone.... EVERYONE got these games and played them. Guys, girls, transexuals it transcended all genders and everyone loved it.

Than it was was followed by pokemon yellow the game that followed the TV show more closely and once again it was gobbled up by the american public. I own all three. Than the 2nd generation came out with gold, silver and Crystal. It was still huge but the original age group that bought the first one started to cast off this game. By the 3rd generation with Ruby, sapphire, and emerald the original pokemon generation had moved onto halo and psp's and left the games for the younger kids.

Well not everywhere. When the Nintendo DS came out I noticed a few of my classmates had gotten them but thought nothing of it. Until one day I sat down in my first period and the guy next to me was playing pokemon. A game I had not seen in a long time. I looked over and said "Kyle what are you doing" he replayed "battling Blake." I was confused I said "Blake? but he is not in this class and you don't have a link cable how are you doing such a thing" well turns out the game using the DS lets you battle wirelessly almost anywhere in the world.

Before the week was out I found at least two people in EVERY SIGNLE one of my classes had this new pokemon game. So I jumped on the trend and bought a DS and a game. Now for the reminder of the year we had intense pokemon battles through out school and after school. My most epic one I remember driving to someones house to have a tourment and not once did anyone ever say it was "uncool" or "lame" it was the thing to be playing at RRHS.

Now I moved back to North Carolina senior year and apparently Pokemon was lame there... No one had the new ones on DS and the kids that did were the ones in yu-gi-oh card clubs and what not... Not the kind of kids I could hold a conversation with. Although everyone loved their PSP games and their Halo 3 yet Pokemon was "lame" or "stupid".

Why is it dumb? Halo 3's story takes maybe 10-12 hours to beat on the hardest setting. Pokemon has no hardest setting and you can easily rack up anywhere from 50-80 hours play time just beating the story alone. Sure you can do it faster but if you are just a casual gamer it would take weeks to beat it. Than to complete the game 100% would take 100's of hours. Yet it is still dumb. In my opinion it is one of the greatest handhelds ever made. Sure Halo 3 has good multiplayer but you cant compare that to pokemon for there is not Massive Multiplayer game on the DS or any handheld for that matter.

I still believe full heartedly even though I own Halo 3, GTA4, every new BLOCKBUSTER game that Pokemon is the greatest game ever made. I still play pokemon blue and Yellow. (not red Idk I never liked red) and I dabble in the Gameboy color and game boy advance versions.

A few weeks ago I got the new Pokemon Platinum. I now own every pokemon game made on the Gameboy system. I found two friends that also have the new version one right here at UNCW and one at my old high school. Now I bet your thinking "HA what nerds actually buy this game" yet if you met either of these guys you would never guess that every night me and them have pokemon battles.

So if you have the game hit me up and we can battle. If you think its lame I will gladly debate you on this subject. If you think your name is cooler than mine we can debate about that too.

Too everyone else- have a blessed night

and so it begins

So every now and than you have those weeks you can relax. But it seems they are few and far between in college. For me they may only last a day or two than it is back to the grind. Well looking ahead I have ... none left. I don't have a Hell week at the end of of this semester.... No I get three....

Starting with two papers, two tests this friday. Than a test monday and a verbal exam tuesday. It begins and will not stop until I finish exams. So I have relocated myself to the Fisher Student Center and Randell Library.

Now I understand that the Fisher Center is a social place and not designated for studying but you could still be considerate. When you walk into a room and see four people sitting with text books reading don't have a TEN MINUTE conversation at near yelling pitch to your grandma about how your about to study and need to hang up the phone.

Oh and if you didn't know studying is easier with out a phone at all. Right now mine is sitting in my dorm room on the other side of campus turned off. When it is 10 at night and your in a room with two other people all readying/studying and your ringtone sounds like a dying animal screaming out in pain it might be best to put it on silent not let it ring forty times before calling someone and telling them to stop texting you.

To those people who eat every meal alone... Why must you sit next to me. There are millions of tables down stairs where you can eat and watch the other people who actually have friends socialize until you get jealous enough to make your own friends. I don't need you to sit next to me and graze on your chick-fil-a. Now I say graze because you don't seem to understand how to close your mouth long enough to chew without making it loud enough for half the building to hear.

I am sorry to you people with NO friends who must come here to eat. But for realz learn to chew. To those people who use head phones when they listen to music when studying thank you. Now to those people who use head phones yet still turn your music up as LOUD as you can.... really? if I can hear your music with my head phones in it is too loud. I get that you want to be deaf soon so you can't hear your significant other tell you to take out the trash but its distracting when your listening to ghetto gangster rap or if your singing along to your rap and ever other word is "f**K this N****R that" for real.... clean up your language and just study or go rap outside I don't need to hear it.

alright I am done venting about distracting people. Back to studying. Enjoy your classes everyone.

Man I love college

A lot has changed since I "began college." Notice began college was in quotes because I am not counting from when I got to school. I am counting from when I became single and started exploring college life, making good friends and what not. Now I was told once when I got to college I would make all NEW Friends. That these friends would be my life long ones. Now I know there are a good number of friends from high school those who I have told I see as a "Best Friend" and there are about six of them that I will see myself being friends with forever. But The friends you make your Freshmen year are most likely the ones that you will still be friends with in twenty years and such. So here are my friends that I see almost every day or very close to it. If you did not make it into this or I left you out I am so sorry I was writing this at midnight and maybe you should just spend more time with me or something... so yeah.

Now I would have to say my first "college" friends were Jay, Joey, and Isaac. Jay and Joey live in the room next to me and Isaac just lives in their room most weeks. At this point I would have to say out of everyone in the dorm Joey is the one guy I would say is a good friend of mine who I would definitely hang out with next year and beyond. Now there were others in the dorm who I became friends with. For a long while I was really good friends with David, Pat, and sam but as of lately I do not see my ATO buddies around very much.

I did Meet a guy in my  freshmen seminar class named Jesse. Now when I first met him I did not really connect with him right away but I ran into him a few times around campus. Now I did not know it at the moment but since returning from winter break Jesse went from a common acquaintance when I went to see James Bond with him to someone I would find it weird if I did not see every day. Out of all my friends at the dub now I would say there are two I would call one of my best friends and Jesse is one of them. I do have to credit Jesse with introducing me to almost everyone else in the group including Rachael who was also in my seminar class.

Of course I can not forget Caleb and ED. Caleb is straight out of the 919 just like me and keeps it real. Me and caleb have become quite good friends from dates over spring break to breakfast before our psych class. With his and everyone elses help I have managed to find my way back to church and began seeing God as a big part of my life again. I do give the most credit for this to ED though. I met ED long after every one else in the group and he was already known as the "crazy out there guy." I found ED to have a personality very close to mine right away and with in the week of meeting him we were out getting Nice together and I was sleeping on his floor. It was not even a full two weeks before he was my best friend (okay co best friend with Jesse). Oh and me and Ed got the new POKEMON game to battle each other and what not, thanks for being my bro.

Than there is Dylan Dodson.  Dylan went to my high school and is the only green hoper that I hang out with on a regular basis. Now I do see Mike Santry and Brittney Moore a good bit but we don't hang out very often. Me and Dylan were NOT friends in high school. Unlike Jesse and Caleb who hated each other first semester me and Dylan were not enemies. We like to think of it more as rivals. He used plastic eggs to egg my house and I used real eggs. He made fun of me on AIM and I beat him up with all my friends. He told your mama jokes and I took his mom out to a nice seafood dinner and never called her again. DO WORK is something you will heard dylan say ALL THE TIME. Oh and now you will hear me saying it too one of his habits that wore off on me. Now of course there is C.C. yeah I nick named her. She was apparently in my math class along with Chelsey, David, and Dylan first semester but I did not know her than. Now C.C. will be the first one to call me out for saying something "inappropriate" but it is nice to know someone is keeping me in line.

Now Chelsey and David were jus
t mentioned as being in my math class. Chelsey is also from the 919 representing a "rival"
school to mine but hers is most likely a lot better than the place I graduated from. I picked up a habit from Caleb of asking her out a lot. A joke that has been taken very far sometimes and at this point becoming very old and with a little self control will hopefully die out so we can all laugh about it later on. Now David was someone I did not meet right away but was one of many people in the group along with Caleb and Ed who encouraged me to watch EVERY EPISODE OF LOST in two weeks.... I did it so now I can watch it with them every wednesday. David has also encouraged me to take up biking as a hobby so I have collected the gear to do so and hope to begin soon. Oh and be ready to see me a good bit this summer when I drive down for surf weekends and need a place to crash! Can I stay with you? PLEASE!?!?! THANK YOU. Daniel or should I say Mr. President is a fellow hard core republican. We represent the right side and together will one day run this nation (for four to eight years).

Now how can I forget the LOUD ONE. Ms. Lohan. She is always there to remind me at lunch that I should really be in class and not eating with them but quick to forgive me and accept my company at lunch. Be careful around her at dinner she will spill Milk on your shoes (yes there is still a milk stain on them). Virginia is the roommate of CC. Now I have not spent too much time with her or talked to her alone so I don't know her all too well but I know she is a UNC fan and a pretty chill girl.

Mike Santry. What can I say about this kid. We ran cross
country and track together in high school. I have been friends with his girl friend Brittney Moore for a good while too. Mike runs Cross Country for UNCW and talks about how awesome it is and I might try to get in shape to try out I am not sure yet we will see where this summer takes me. Mike is one of the few high school friends I see as a good college friend (now I am not saying I am casting off my high school friends I just mean when I am at school I have a different group of friends than back home). I do have to give credit for Brit for being so accepting of mine and Mikes bond. No HOMO!

Of course I already have a few "college" friends who are not in college yet. Thomas O'Conner became a good friend of mine I guess near the end of Cross Country season my senior year of high school. He Has recently decided to come to UNCW next year and I am generally pumped. I know a lot of people say they don't hang with their high school friends from other grades but already having Thomas to come visit twice this year I can definitely see me and him hanging a good bit next year. He will be my lifting partner next year so I have a LOT of work to do in the gym this summer. Oh and we will definitely get NICE together a whole lot.

Finally there is Michelle! Now Michelle is not a person but she is the most expensive thing I have ever bought in my life. Michelle replaced Jack (or jack off, the dick eater aka my old white volvo). Of course buying the first car I plan on keeping for a while it is very special for me seeing as it is entirely mine I was not one of those lucky kids who got a free hand out car from my parents. Of course my parents gift was co-signing the loan and helping me out with insurance and payments for the first month but now it is all on me. Now if you wonder why the car is named Michelle or if you are even still reading here is why. I figured the car is the first car I have really bought and the first one that means anything to me the one I want to hang on to. So why not name it after the girl who meant all those same things to me for the first time when dating. Creepy? I have no idea but I think of it as kinda a symbolic thing for me. But I am weird.

Easter Break

So today is monday, meaning class has started once again and the long weekend has ended. Now for most people easter weekend was a great way to go home and see family and friends. I have traveled home for every long weekend and holiday thus far in college but I felt ready to be alone on one and not run home to mom and dad.

Now there were a few reasons I stayed in wilmington this break I will share a few with y'all. Now the first one was to hang with my peeps at the beach. Wednesday night and thursday morning I got to meet Lindsey Moore, Brittney's sister, (who I may have already known before but we were not facebook friends) and hang with Ellen G (no she is not a g its her last name). I have not hung out much with Mike Santry or Brittney Moore as much as I would have liked too since I got to college. We got to hit up a nice restaurant and the beach and it was a really fun time hanging out.

Now Friday got fun too. Thursday night I was informed that my bro Thomas, who is going to UNCW next year with me, was going to come down and visit and I spend Friday morning with some of my best friends from GH Thomas, Pete, Nick Blaiser, and Bradford even hit up the beach with us. I did have to cut out to go to work though.

Now saturday is where my main reason for staying came into play. My best friend in the NC D.C. Hit up the dub. Along with my sister Hoskie, aka Allie. Now she have never visited me in college up until this point so it was pretty fun to hit the beach with her and D.C.

So besides hanging at the beach with friends why did I stay in the dub for easter? Well I did get to work a good amount of hours at Harris Teeter. So hopefully come next monday I will have enough money saved up to make all my car payments for may through july. Sure that is only three months but that is $450 meaning the money I save up for the next month or so can be my summer spending money before saving up for more car payments.

Now the real reason I stayed in wilmington came into play saturday night. Self reflection. I knew I would have my room to my self and for the first time in a while without sticking myself in the library or gym or the library I could sit somewhere without someone talking to me. Now I have been at college for what 8 months now and I wanted to take some time to see if I am really the person I wanted to be when I got here. Now a lot has changed since august and my reflection came full circle with a conversation I had with Jesse saturday night. Jesse is one of my closer friends I would like to think here at the dub. He is also the only one I confide information in. He is like my Go to guy to talk too.

In the end I realized I am not completely on the track I wanted to be on and I have some work to do to get there. Starting going to church was a good first step. Getting a job and buying my first car was another step I took to being independent. I will have my own phone plan next month. But I also have other things I wanted to do when I got to college. I am truly mature in the core but for some reason I work really hard to act immature, to use "lines" to say "thats what she said" and make everything dirty. Things that would be "funny" if said maybe once every week or so but used every five minutes make me seem dumb, immature, like an attention whore, ect ect. So I think for the moment I know the path I want to take and will do my best to get there. In a few months I may be there or I may not we shell see. Nothing happens over night.

Enjoy the week to come

Remembering back 1 year, maybe 2

Every day has its history. What a great statement something that I bet everyone will read and think "well DUH." I am not sure about everyone else but at some point in the day I like to check out the internet.

For example I know that in 2007 yesterday The charges were dropped against the three duke lacrosse players. I also know on that same day in 2007 I asked out a girl and 15 minutes later one of my best friends asked out a girl just to have the same anniversary. A trent that would follow a few month later by another friend so all three of us would have the same one. Not only do these facts surprise me that I have such good friends that want to share such dates with me. It also surpsises me what you can remember for such days.

I mean I know on April 11th 2007 I ate a number one at sonic, had a power aid slush with my bro Bruno. we did this after school before going to a lacrosse game against Central Catholic. One that I had the tying goal to send the game into sudden death overtime. I remember that after my goal I pointed to the lady watching from the crowd. It is funny how if you find one moment specific enough to remember. Such as yelling across a field in a demanding voice and someone telling you later "that was one of the most attractive things I have ever seen" or something your best friend does just to have something in common with you that the whole day and even the next day will be engrained in your memory forever.

Now I am not trying to tell you about my dating life or anything I just think it is amazing how one important moment can keep so many other random facts. For example I can remember that one year ago today I went to prom. I remember everything I did before getting ready and the awesome night that endured. The whole night is remembered based on where events fell in it according to if they were before or after I lost my date for 45 minutes.

So take a moment and see if you can remember anything crazy happening in your life a few years back and if by chance you remember what you were doing that day or the following day by chance just by thinking about what happened with the crazy one. I am not sure if your memory works like mine but for me everything is based on big events.

Have a happy easter everyone

The beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair

So depending on how well you know me you will know what this line means to me. I have been a Relient K fan for a LONG LONG time. There is one CD, Mmhmm that I absolutely love every song on. One of these is Be my Escape. Now since I turned 18 I have been looking at other peoples tattoos. Everything from designs to pictures and in the end realized if I got one in 20-30 years I would just say... wow that looks amazingly dumb.

So by mid August about two months after I had turned 18 my idea of joining my friends in this tattoo getting time was shattered. Until a day took me where I woke up and realized Jesus was missing from my life. Now the tattoo and Jesus are not connected immediately. It was not like when an apple fell on Newton and he thought "mmhmm a delicious apple, oh and this force made it fall lets analyze this." No it was far from this. My finding Jesus did lead me back into listening to a lot of christian music again though. Mainly my all time favorite band who I had cast off in lights of new pop and rap music. All of which seems to fall on deaf ears in my playlist now. For I find a witty rhyme about that girls butt and marijuana are petty and boring compared to meaningful and thought provoking language and rhetoric praising Jesus.

Now where am I going with all of this nonsense?  That is a good question if I did not write as I thought it would be easier for me to get there but this feels like the right direction. Well back to the original story/plot/idea I guess. A few months ago, alright A lot of months ago, back in november-ish time I was walking to class with my Ipod on and a line stuck with me, "The beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair." I remember walking in the rain with my umbrella and a car hit a puddle near where I was walking and the splash got my pants from the knees down wet and I repeated the line, "the Beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair."

Now this was a start of a trend for me. If I am in Randell "doing work" (as dylan would say) aka. studying, and the kid next to me starts talking on the phone I don't get mad and yell "FML" as loud as I can as I have heard other people do. I simply remind my self "The beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair." Now if you have never heard Relient K before you should definitly take a look at the full qoute.

I’m giving up on doing this alone now
Cause I’ve failed and I’m ready to be shown how
He’s told me the way and I’m trying to get there
And this life sentence that I’m serving
I admit that I’m every bit deserving
But the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair

Now I have heard this seen as many different ways. Some say they (Relient k or the singer Matt) are complaining that grace is not fair but I don't see it this way at all. To me the singer (Matt T) is confessing to doing something bad and admitting he is ready for god to show him the way. To serve god for the wrongs he has committed and that he is deserving of this but it is this that makes life beautiful. The simple fact that life is not fair is what makes it beautiful.

This line has become something that I say when ever something goes wrong. When I am getting a little mad about something in life it is a good way to calm down. It is like when your a kid and you say "ITS NOT FAIR!" and your parents say "well life is not fair" and every kid yells "well it should be" or something of the sort. Well it took me 18 years to learn that it is really not fair but it is this that makes it amazing. If life was fair to everyone all the time than no one would ever have anything bad happen, no learning experiences, life would be empty and dry.

In the end of the day I have decided IF I get a tattoo next fall, yes I want to wait at least till fall because if I still think I can live with that line on me for ever a year later It will most likely never change, this will be the one I will get. "The beauty of grace is that is makes life not fair." A line to live my life by, straight out of the religious song to god, Be my escape, By Relient K.

So if you see me sometime after next fall check our my chest just under my left peck, for the line that I have fallen in love with may reside there.

for an older generation?

It has occurred to me over the last few months that more and more of the older generation is getting facebook. It is great that they are using new technology to stay in touch but facebook was originally made for college age kids. Now at first this did not affect me at all but it was not too long before I was added on facebook by an ex girlfriends grandparents and than parents. It was not too long before my own aunts and uncles were adding me.

Now I was already friends with my younger siblings since they are in high school and even so there are things I don't want them to see on my facebook. It is not that I have anything to hide but there is no need for them to be reading my conversations.

I mean there is no need for my aunts and uncles to see all the pictures I have up there that may be "cool" for my friends to look at but kinda awkward to have family spying on every aspect of my social life. Thus my solution. I discovered twitter. A place where I can simply post status's and my family and other older friends can simply follow my statuses. So thus it begins deleting all my aunts/uncles from facebook and simply saying just follow me on twitter if you want know what I am up too.

Harris Teeter

As many of you know I work at Harris Teeter. I have for almost a full year now. If you don't live in North Carolina you may not be familiar with Harris Teeter or the Teet as I call it sometimes  but it is a grocery store.

So I am not sure about you but I have  a favorite moment from work. Mine took place about three or four weeks ago now. So let me set the stage for you.

It was about six or seven PM on a friday and I was chillin at the front end bagging groceries. I was on the far register with Cameron, A local high school kid. We were doing work like always and than this old man comes up to and yells "do you have any cabbage"

I thought well sir you did just walk into a grocery store what do you think but noticed he had hearing aids in and grey hair so I played along and replied "I believe we do would you like me to help you find some"

"no thats alright" the man promptly screamed back and walked off in the direction of produce. Now I a good ten to twenty minutes pass and at this point I have completely forgotten about the old man when he comes to check out at our register. He asks cameron if that is in fact a cabbage and it is and he is rung up and I bag the item.

Now the whole time the man is paying his mumbling jibberish to himself and I have no idea what is going on. He finally pays and picks up his bag and looks me right in the eye. I thought he would say something like good night, or have a good one but he yells "ARE YOU GETTING ANY PUSSY TONIGHT!?!!??!??!?!"

WHAT, what a ridiculous question to ask the guy who just bagged your groceries. How do you even answer that? well I could think of only one good answer and it was "yes sir, yes I am." I thought this answer would satisfy him and he would leave but it did not.

The man replies "YOU LISTEN HERE SONNY, YOU GIVE IT TO HER GOOD, GIVE IT TO HER SO SHE WALKS FUNNY!" I nodded and said "just for you sir."After creating quite the scene the man left.

I thought this night was as good as it was going to get until tonight. The man returned and I had the exact same conversation with him. YEY For memory loss.

So I know this is about 3 months late

I never really set any new years goals. There are a few things I want to do this year. If you know me well you will know that I am kinda a lazy person. I love having a good time but never really a great student or anything. I have never really finished a new years resolution before so maybe if I make them in March I will have a better shot.

Alright so here are the goals.
1. Stop drinking soda
2. Start working out every day (I want to get buff)
3. Get better grades (3.0-3.5 at least)
4. Run a marathon

So yeah not any thing to crazy or out there. I do have a plan to reach them though. So lets start with the first one. I stopped drinking soda 2 weeks before lent so this makes week 3. Soda is what I gave up for lent but I will hopefully keep it up for the rest of the year.

Working out is something I started over winter break and was much easier at home but now in wilmington it was put in the back burner. I am going to colorado in two days. But when I return I will start going to the gym in cary and than hit the gym in Wilmington hopefully every day when returning here. I don't have classes tuesday or thursday so I can hit it in the morning when it is empty and MWF it should be easy to do after my 2 PM if I don't work or when I get off work. So getting back in shape and getting buff is something I plan on doing

My grades last semester were not.. great. I had a 2.46 and That was not something I want to repeat. I have been going to the library a good amount but I have found myself in the fisher student center for 4 hours a night the last 4 nights with some good friends. It seems to be a pretty good way to study. I get good work done and get to hang out with Jesse, Caleb, Chelsey, Daniel, and David. So I think Fisher is going to be my new study spot at night.

My last goal is to run a marathon this year. I have already done a few long runs this year. Some up to 17 and 18 miles. I want to get into even better shape and run a marathon in the fall. My working out and not drinking soda goals will help build into this. I won't work this one too much right now but in the summer I will start building runs into my lifting days. medium runs on upper body days and long runs/running work outs on lower body days

SO there are my goals and how I plan on reaching them. Now just got to start working on them. Hopefully I can pull it off this year.

Super Sunday?

So from the start of the post season I was not really following football as I did in the regular season. Being a Saints fan I knew my team had little to no shot at the super bowl. So when it was decided that the Super Bowl would be the Stealers against the Cardinals. Surprisingly I found North Carolina has a lot of Stealers fans. I was not partial to either team. Well at first I wasn't until I was sent this e-mail.

KURTIS THE STOCK BOY AND
       BRENDA THE CHECKOUT GIRL

In a supermarket, Kurtis the stock boy, was busily working when a new voice
came over the loud speaker asking for a carry out at register 4.  Kurtis was
almost finished, and wanted to get some fresh air, and decided to answer the
call. As he approached the check-out stand a distant smile caught his eye, the
new check-out girl was beautiful.  She was an older woman (maybe 26, and he was
only 22) and he fell in love.

Later that day, after his shift was over, he waited by the punch clock to find
out her name. She came into the break room, smiled  softly at him, took her card
and punched out, then left.  He looked at her card, BRENDA.  He walked out only
to see her start walking up the road.  Next day, he waited outside as she left
the supermarket, and offered her a ride home. He looked harmless enough, and she
accepted.  When he dropped her off, he asked if maybe he could see her again,
&nb sp;    outside of work.  She simply said it wasn't possible.

He pressed and she explained she had two children and she couldn't afford a
baby-sitter, so he offered to pay for the baby-sitter.  Reluctantly she accepted
his offer for a date for the following Saturday.  That Saturday night he arrived
at her door only to have her tell him that she was unable to go with him. The
baby-sitter had called and canceled. To which Kurtis simply said, "Well,
let's take the kids with us."

She tried to explain that taking the children was not an option, but aga in not
taking no for an answer, he pressed.  Finally Brenda, brought him inside to meet
her children.  She had an older daughter Jessie, who was just as cute as a bug, Kurtis
thought, then Brenda brought out her son, Zachary in a wheelchair.  He was born a
       paraplegic with Down Syndrome.

Kurtis asked Brenda, "I still don't understand why the kids can't
come with us?"  Brenda was amazed. Most men would run away from a woman
with two kids, especially if one had disabilities - just like her first husband
and father of her children had done.  Kurtis was no t ordinary - - - he had a
       different mindset.

That evening Kurtis and Brenda loaded up the kids, went to dinner and the
movies. When her son needed anything Kurtis would take care of him.  When he
needed to use the restroom, he picked him up out of his wheelchair, took him and
brought him back.  The kids loved Kurtis.  At the end of the evening, Brenda
knew this was the man she was going to marry and spend the rest of her life
       with.

A year later, they were married and Kurtis adopted Jessie and Zachary.
;       Since then Brenda and Kurtis have added five children of their own:  sons

Elijah and Kade, daughter Jada, and twin girls Sierra Rose and Sienna Rae.

So what happened to Kurtis the stock boy and Brenda the check-out girl?  Well,
Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Warner now live in Arizona , where he is currently employed
as the quarterback of the National Football League Arizona Cardinals and has his
Cardinals in the hunt for a possible appearance in the Super Bowl.  Is this a
surprise ending or could you have guessed that he was not an ordinary person.

Both Brenda and Kurt are active born-again Christians.

It should be noted that he also quarterbacked the Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.

He has also been the NLF's Most Valuable Player twice and the Super Bowl's

       Most Valuable Player.

After reading this I became a Kurt Warner. I also have the fact that I was born phoenix Arizona on my side. Now I am not saying I am going to be a Cardinals fan from now on but for this super bowl I was. So as the clock drew close to halftime I was getting rather excited. As the score was sitting at 10-7 Stealers I was on the edge of my seat and ready to cheer as I watched Kurt Throw another touchdown. Than it came... Harrison with an interception for a 100 yard return. To some was a great historic super bowl play, I saw the team I was rooting for going down in flames.

The third brought no good signs with the only score coming from the stealers. Now The Cardinals could have made history in the 4th if they had come back. No team in Super Bowl history has come back from more than 10 points. Unfortunately even with 16 points in the 4th the Cardinals scored their last touchdown about a minute early.

Although I did not like the outcome of the game I still thought it was alright. Not as good as last years though but still something fun to watch. If Kurt does come back next year I will definitely watch him a little closer now. But if he does not return to the game I am sure he will continue giving back to the troops and to charities everywhere.  I hope you enjoyed the game it was definitely a thriller in the end.

why conservative?

In the last month I have had more people challenge my beliefs than I could count. Obviously the tides have turned and most of our nation is liberal now. In the last month we have all seen the democrats take control in the house, senate, and as the president. I am tired of people challenging my view points when their points seem completely irrational to me. So why am I a conservative and why do I despise Obama? I will tell you.

I will start simple, 10,668,819,742,627. You may be wondering what is that ghastly number. That my friends is the national debt. Now to make my next point make sense I will explain it simply for you. Lets say you have a credit card. You get so excited over this card you spend excessively and find yourself $15,000 in debt and with the growing interest you can't keep spending and possibly pay off the debt. What do you do? If you are smart you cut back on spending, you don't eat out anymore, you stop going to movies, you stop buying anything you don't need to survive. Talking to a bank about finding a good way to pay back your debt and working on that is a great plan. If you follow liberal politics though you will do the opposite. You will run out and get 4 more credit cards and Max ALL OF THEM out spending most of it on irrelevant stuff. This is the bailout. A ONE Trillion dollar proposal that will "fix our economy!" or will it?

The democrats golden boy, Obama, seems to think "There is no disagreement that we need action by our government, a recovery plan that will help to jumpstart the economy." For some reason everyone believes him. In fact though "200 top economic minds signed a national ad published in The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal against the trillion dollar spending binge proposed by democrats." The 200 top economic minds say it will not work! But Obama knows what he is doing right? He is doing something no other president has done so it will work right? More government spending by Hoover and Roosevelt did not pull the United States economy out of the Great Depression in the 1930s. More government spending did not solve Japan’s “lost decade” in the 1990s. As such, it is a triumph of hope over experience to believe that more government spending will help the U.S. today. OH well is seems other did try... This is another problem, repeating history. If it failed before why would it work now. This "Stimulus" is nothing more than a huge shopping list that liberals have been trying to get passed for years. Is giving billions of dollars to ACORN a group accused of voter fraud really going to stimulate the economy? No but it is giving back to the people who helped Obama win and obviously Obama has no morals by electing a new security  of treasury who committed tax Fraud!

I am still trying to figure out how giving millions of dollars to STD prevention, Condoms, and Abortions in our nation and in OTHERS will help get us out of debt. The point of this bill is to stimulate the economy right? So shouldn't we focus on that instead of wasting money making sure Kenya can get abortions?

If you have not wondered about the election day yet think about it. Who partied harder than the U.S.? oh thats right Kenya! Now why would they do so if we elected our president they have never done so in the past... Oh that is right it is because our president is focusing on nations like kenya just as much as our own. He is worried they wont get condoms and abortions yet it seems he has forgotten about the economy here in america.

That for me is enough reason alone not to be a liberal... That is why I don't understand how anyone could possibly be one... I will continue though. To truly fix the economy I do think cutting all taxes and a LOT of government spending for two months will help. The average american will save thousands of dollars and what will they do with it? Most likely spend it and the money will eventually reach places that if the government stops wasting money on useless programs like fixing global warming they will be able to really fix this national debt.

I do like having a hypocrite for president though. I remember him saying on his campaign trail "we need to stop driving our big SUV's and turn down our thermostats to save energy and the environment." So why Mr. Obama have you turned up the thermostat in your oval office so warm you can't wear a coat in there? Your from Hawaii thats right... But didn't you just live the last twenty years in Chicago. But your suit back on and look professional. If a worker and Mcdonalds showed up without their uniform they would get fired same should go for you! Look professional your only representing our nation.

Do you remember when Obama said - “You know, I’ve heard from an Army captain who was the head of a rifle platoon supposed to have 39 men in a rifle platoon. Ended up being sent to Afghanistan with 24 because 15 of those soldiers had been sent to Iraq.

And as a consequence, they didn’t have enough ammunition, they didn’t have enough Humvees. They were actually capturing Taliban weapons, because it was easier to get Taliban weapons than it was for them to get properly equipped by our current commander in chief.”

He really made me believe he liked the military. Only it was a lie because now he is making the armed forces cut their spending by $50 BILLION. While on the other hand he wastes ONE TRILLION on condoms and hand outs to law breakers and illegal immigrants. I really do wonder how he plans on defending this nation. "HEY don't attack us we will give you free condoms" sounds like a safe plan to me.

Now you might be saying well he is better than bush? Is he really? But didn't help people in new orleans? Really do you think Bush didn't help? I saw people rushing there as soon as it struck. I saw people who were evacuated in my city of san antonio shortly after. The only reason you think Bush did not help was because the media told you so. The media made you believe Bush was this horrible person. WAIT There has been a 5 day storm in Kentucky this week. People are literally on deaths door step. Has Fema shown up? no... Has Obama done anything... no. Is the news making a big deal of it? no Because they are liberal and wouldn't want one of their kind to look bad.

I would tell you how Bush did a great job with 9/11 and the war in Iraq but if your not questioning your liberal beliefs now than you will most likely ignore that two. I really think the only people supporting this government are people living off of government money and very ignorant people. In 4 years when the only change is bad (at this point I can say it will be cause he is off to a terrible start) you will most likely still support him. I don't mind because I know the only way to fix this country is through some conservative policies and hopefully if we can survive long enough too we will fix it.
